A study at Univeristy of California, San Francisco has found that adults with PTSD who come from traumatic childhoods age more quickly than adults who have PTSD but who did not have trauma in childhood. The study was headed by Aoife O’Donovan, ph.d.

The aging process is measured by something called telomere biology.

The study doesn’t mention divorce. That cuts into the California dream. Examples of what describe trauma are violence and neglect and others. Go
